The Indian Maharadja at Libéma Open 2025: style, sport, and atmosphere
The Libéma Open in Rosmalen remains a staple on our events calendar. This year—our fourth consecutive edition—The Indian Maharadja was not just visible, but truly felt. In and around the Autotron grounds, we created a setting where sport, lifestyle, and community came together seamlessly.
Rain or shine, the atmosphere was spot on
The weather had its moments: sun, clouds, and the occasional heavy downpour. But anyone who thought that would dampen the mood was mistaken. On the contrary—when it rained, our stand filled up with visitors who stayed to browse, try things on, feel the fabrics, and shop. As soon as the weather cleared, the vibrant festival vibe in the park returned instantly. The atmosphere? Open, friendly, and full of enthusiasm.
A stand full of experience
Our presence at the Libéma Open was bigger and more active than ever. The stand offered space for meeting, discovering, and experiencing. From our new collection to surprising activations, visitors didn't just come to watch—they came to participate.
For instance, we organized various giveaways, including an exclusive clinic with Wesley Koolhof for the winners of our competition. Visitors were also able to check out our latest The Indian Maharadjatennis rackets and hold them in their hands—a great opportunity to get to know the technology behind our products.
There was also a photo booth ready to capture the moment, which resulted in many spontaneous and joyful pictures.
With genuine attention, a strong presence, and an eye for detail, The Indian Maharadja wasn't just another participant—we were part of the experience.
Ambassadors in action, even off the court
Although Botic van de Zandschulp and Tallon Griekspoor couldn't play on the court due to injuries, they were very much present. During meet & greets and other activations, they took plenty of time for fans and the community.
A special moment: Tallon spontaneously jumped into the stand with Milo ter Reegen (known from De Bankzitters) to help sell clothing—an act that drew crowds and plenty of smiling faces.
Throughout the tournament, there were several meet & greets with Tallon, Botic, and others, where fans had the chance to get an autograph or a photo with their favorite players.
In addition, the tournament attracted big names for the qualifying rounds and doubles, ensuring that top-level sports were on display throughout the park at all times.
And all over the grounds, one color stood out: the bright orange of the ball kids, who brought color and energy to the tournament and were perfectly visible in their striking outfits.
Sporting highlights
The starring roles in the sporting arena this year went to Belgium's Elise Mertens (who saved an incredible eleven(!) match points in the semi-final) and Canada's Gabriel Diallo (securing his very first ATP title), both of whom claimed the singles titles. With their convincing performances, they gave the tournament and the final the brilliance it deserved.
We will be back
With a growing community, a stronger brand presence, and a stand that was more than just a point of sale, we look back on a successful edition with pride.
We will be back in 2026. Bigger, more creative, and even closer to the sport.
See you next year!
