I use kickers, leg guards, goalie pants, a body protector, and gloves.

What do you consider your greatest strength or specialty as a goalkeeper?
I try to train as all-round as possible so that I have as few weaknesses as possible. If I have to choose my strongest point, it would be my reflexes and my high stick side.

What goals or ambitions do you (still) have in your goalkeeping career?
I want to get the most out of it. Preferably the Dutch national team, but if that's not achievable, I would like to become a steady Hoofdklasse goalkeeper.

Wesley Koolhof is a former world number one in doubles, a Wimbledon champion, and one of the most successful Dutch tennis players of all time. As an ambassador, he is the face of The Indian Maharadja tennis rackets and shares his knowledge and experience to help further develop the collection.

From Germany, where he resides, Wesley also supports the brand's growth by identifying new opportunities and helping to build a strong network within the German tennis community.

Pirmin Blaak is one of the most successful hockey goalkeepers of his generation. The former top-tier keeper for clubs including HC Rotterdam, Oranje-Rood, Braxgata, and the Dutch national team won the national championship with Rotterdam in 2013, secured Olympic gold with the national team, and was named Goalkeeper of the Year in 2023.

As an ambassador for The Indian Maharadja and a key partner in the development of our goalie line, Pirmin translates his top-level experience into equipment that excels in protection, fit, and freedom of movement. Together, we develop products that allow goalkeepers at every level to get the most out of their game.

Miriam Oremans reached 25th place in the world singles rankings and won a silver medal in women's doubles at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

As a scout for The Indian Maharadja, she is responsible for recruiting and mentoring the brand's tennis ambassadors. Thanks to her extensive experience and strong network within the international tennis world, Miriam plays a key role in assembling a team of top players that represents the ambitions and image of The Indian Maharadja.

‘For me, the visors are a real must-have. I wear them for every match and training session. They are super lightweight, which also makes them easy to take with me when I travel.’

How long have you been using The Indian Maharadja goalkeeper gear?
I have been using The Indian Maharadja goalkeeper gear since October 25, 2022, through Pirmin.

In what way has The Indian Maharadja goalkeeper gear helped you improve your game?
The Indian Maharadja goalkeeper gear has improved my game in several ways. The thickness and width of the protection allow me to stay on my line longer and react faster to shots. I can stop balls with more confidence and without fear of pain because the material is sturdy and reliable. This allows me to keep with more focus, without worrying about protection that is too thin. It gives me the confidence to go all out for every ball.

Which materials from The Indian Maharadja collection do you use in goal?
I use the Storm line from The Indian Maharadja in goal.

What do you consider your greatest strength or specialty as a goalkeeper?
My greatest strength as a goalkeeper is that I can stop penalty corners on my stick side with a fully extended leg. This is a technique I have a lot of confidence in and one that often earns me important saves.

What goals or ambitions do you still have in your goalkeeping career?
I am still a young goalkeeper, so my ambitions are big and broad. My ultimate dream is to join a Hoofdklasse Men's 1 team in the future. If that is not yet feasible, I want to work towards that level in any case. In addition, I would like to return to the Dutch Under-18 team and continue to develop myself to play at the highest level in the Netherlands and possibly internationally.
