Historic ATP Title in Munich for German Duo Schnaitter & Wallner

This year’s ATP 500 tournament in Munich (BMW Open) had a special story. German doubles specialists Jakob Schnaitter (30) and Mark Wallner (26) won their very first ATP-level title there. In a nail-biting final, they defeated the French duo Arribage/Olivetti in a decisive match tiebreak: 12-10.

The finale couldn't have been more thrilling. Schnaitter and Wallner even fended off a match point, only to strike back themselves and secure their first ATP title as a pair. It was a moment that not only confirmed their breakthrough but also underscored their mental resilience under pressure.

The title in Munich is no fluke. The German duo has been making an impression on the ATP Tour for quite some time and is clearly on the rise. Their recent performances have now been rewarded with a ranking of No. 36 in the world, marking a new career high.

With their strong teamwork, complementary playing styles, and growing experience, Schnaitter and Wallner seem ready to take the next step toward the very top of doubles tennis.

Proud Ambassadors of The Indian Maharadja

For The Indian Maharadja, this victory is especially meaningful. Schnaitter and Wallner are brand ambassadors, and this title perfectly underscores what the brand stands for: performance, growth, and dedication at the highest level.

During their successful tournament in Munich, the German team played in a full outfit from The Indian Maharadja. On the course, they wore, among other things, the Men’s Dynamic Tee in hunter green, paired with the Men’s Ripstop Shorts in bright white. The look was completed with the Swiftstride crew sock, the Wrist sweatband, and the Kadiri Uni Cap (all of these items in white).

A powerful and stylish look that perfectly matches their performance on the track.

On the Way to More

With their first ATP title under their belts and a spot in the world’s top 40, this seems to be just the beginning for Schnaitter and Wallner. Their progress over the past few years shows that they continue to build on their success, step by step.

This victory in Munich therefore doesn't feel like the end, but rather like the starting point for more success at the highest level.
